Daniel Dean Lachan

August 9, 1993 — February 22, 2021

Daniel Dean Lachan passed away at the age of 27 on Monday, February 22, 2021. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend. Daniel is survived by his parents, Kah Suan and Dean, sisters, Victoria, Denisse, brothers Raymond and Christopher.

Daniel graduated from Temasek Poly in 2016, with a Diploma in Cyber & Digital Security. He enjoyed computers and technology.

Daniel liked spending time watching anime shows, playing video games and hunting and hanging out with his friends. He was a loving and caring brother to his little sister and loved to spend time and bond with her.

Daniel was such a good son. He loved seeing his family happy and proud of him and his achievements. Daniel was very dependable and helpful all the time. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and make time whenever needed. His family will surely miss his generous and thoughtful heart.

Daniel was a beloved family member of the Fannin County Sheriff's Office. His intelligence and warm personality earned him much respect and admiration from his brothers and sisters in law enforcement, EMS and Fire Rescue. Daniel was dedicated to his responsibility and his community that he served. During the course of his service Daniel knew people he had never seen, addresses he had never been and helped people he would never meet. He protected the brave defenders standing between peace and chaos. He received many commendations for his accomplishments and will be deeply mourned by his family.

Daniel was well known for his loving heart and warm spirit.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Dodd City Cemetery on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 2:30pm.
