Corey Brennan Shaw

   In loving memory of Corey Brennan Shaw.

Born December 9, 1984 departed for heaven January 8, 2023. Beloved son, father, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.

Survived by his only son and best friend, Colton Shaw, his mother and stepfather: Liz and Terry Swan. His father and stepmother: Bryan and Jan Shaw, Brother: Jordan Swan and wife, Sophie, Brother: Michael Swan, Grandmother: Rhonda Mullen, Aunt and Uncle: Cindy and Tim Dorough, Uncle: Jim Brooks, Aunt and Uncle: Pam and Red Fields, numerous cousins and friends.

Corey was happy and a free spirit, quick witted, kind and compassionate. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He bagged his first turkey and the age of seven.

He taught and emphasized the importance of proper gun safety to Colton. An avid fan of music and history buff.

Memorial service will be Saturday, February 11, 2023 at noon.  Held at Charles Smith funeral Home located on Highway 78, Sachse Texas.
