Clemens Henry Siemer

October 3, 1940 — November 21, 2011

Clemens H. Siemer (Clem), 71, of Dallas, Texas passed away in his home on November 21, 2011 surrounded by his wife and children. The son of German immigrants, Clem was born on October 3, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Clem Siemer and Mary Ruhe. He graduated from St. Xavier High School and the University of Cincinnati where he earned a BBA in Accounting. In 1963 he joined Touche, Ross, Bailey and Smart (now Deloitte) with whom he enjoyed a 37 year career, retiring in Dallas in 2000 after serving as the Audit Partner in Charge in Dallas and the MidAmerica Leader of the Real Estate Services Practice. Clem enjoyed his sports cars, John Wayne westerns, slapstick comedy and listening to sports on the radio and was an excellent cook. But more than anything else Clem was a family man. Everything he did was for his wife, children and grandchildren.

Clem is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 49 years, Mary Rita Stretch, his children Michael D. Siemer (Mary C. Thompson), Christina L. Johnson, Stephen M. Siemer, Paul C. Siemer (Lori Russell), his grandchildren Ryan Johnson, Avery Siemer, Ansley Siemer, and Casey Siemer and his sister Mary Ann Siemer. Visitation will be held on Monday Nov. 28th at 10am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3826 Gilbert Ave., Dallas, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bishop Dunne Catholic School, 3900 Rugged Dr., Dallas, TX 75224, for their "100 Dinner" scholarship fund.
