In the afternoon of June 25th, 2022, Christie Lee Chapman of McKinney, Texas passed away at the age of 46. Christie was born to Rick and Ruth Mitchum in 1976.
She had dedicated her adult life to the care of others as a Registered Nurse. For the past decade, she was a leader at several Dallas area hospitals serving to improve quality of care and reduce patient's risk.
Christie loved spending her spare time having lunches with her many friends, volunteering at Heartland Church and anything having to do with sunflowers, hippos, or llamas.
Christie is survived by her husband, Van Chapman, her parents, Rick and Ruth Mitchum, and her adult daughter, Alexis Gutierrez.
A public memorial service will be held at Heartland Church, 4020 Nazarene Dr., Carrollton, TX 75010, on Thursday June 30, 2022 at 11:00am.
