Carol West, age 70, of Princeton, Texas, departed this life to be with Jesus on July 12. She was born January 25, 1942 in Dallas County to Charles & Katherine Bechtol.
Preceding her to eternity were her parents Charles & Katherine Bechtol along with two brothers, Bobby & Clois Bechtol and one sister, Eva Maude Preston. There were many other loved ones with whom she will rejoice from now until we meet again.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years and best friend, Jerry West, also by her daughters Sherry Rowland & husband Samuel from Greenville, Dedra Hogan & husband Pat of Princeton and her son Sandy West & wife Mary from Wylie., her grandchildren Richard West & Vanessa Ware, Rhiannon Lynch, Patrick Hogan Jr., Erica & husband Daniel Walden, David Lynch & Lauren Hutson, Brittany & Colton Shelton and Sarah Rowland and her three great grandchildren, Khailee, Madison and Eli.
She will be missed greatly, never forgotten and we know we will see her again.
The family will receive friends at a visitation to take place Saturday, July 14, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee St. McKinney, Texas 75069. A funeral service celebrating Carol's life will be held Sunday, July 15th, at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
