Carl Edward Lane, born September 1, 1953, in Lockhart, Texas, passed away on January 15, 2012. He was an avid outdoorsman, a loving husband, father, son, and loyal friend. He graduated in 1971 from Lake Highlands High School and received a BBA in 1976 from UT Austin.
Carl owned a residential appraisal business serving the North Texas area. He is survived by wife Susan Morrison, daughter Leslie, son Jack, parents Ralph and Joy Lane, brother Stephen, nephew Marcus, and niece Traci Patterson. A memorial service will be held 11a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2012, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Dallas, Texas; reception to follow. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Dallas, Texas.
