Boaz Gonzales

Boaz Gonzales was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend. He left this world too soon on March 25, 2023 at age 46. 

His parents, Santiago Gonzales and Rachel Hill were truly blessed on April 21, 1976, when Boaz was born. Boaz was the youngest of nine, & greatly loved by his brothers & sisters, Robert Ashley, Joe Angel, Lesvia Ann, James, Ruben Lee, Morris, Gina Rebecca, & Jason Jay. Although short, Boaz lived a full life with his wife & best friend, Marie. They lived in love & happiness, surrounding themselves with 6 beautiful children, Boaz Elisha II, Steven James, Ryan Isaac, Tristan Marie, Jay Isabel, & Scarlett Rae. 

Boaz lived his life in McKinney, Texas doing what he loved, which was spending his time with his family. Being born into a great family, Boaz had many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, & nephews, who describe him as their “favorite”.  Boaz was also blessed with a tribe of cousins, who all describe him as“brother”.  He spent his early days with his tribe & 2 sidekicks, Jason & Gina, playing in creeks, riding bikes, & playing football. Boaz spoke highly of his older siblings, Les, Bombo, Morris, Ruben, Bobby,& Joey who cared for him and helped shape into a young man. After his marriage, Boaz gained two more siblings Jeff and Angel whom he loved and supported.

In his later years Boaz lived his life doing what he loved the most, spending time with his wife, hanging out with his boys, and spoiling his girls. Boaz will remain in our hearts and will be forever cherished as a beloved husband, father, brother, son & friend.
