Billy Barton Eppler

Billy (the kid, Buttons) Barton Eppler of Wylie passed away at 8:40am, September 2nd, 2021. Billy was born in San Angelo, Texas on March 15, 1957 to George Edward Eppler and Fannie Bell O'neal, both of Gorman, Texas. Billy was proceeded in death by his father George Eppler, and grandparents, (Baba) Barton Christopher Eppler, (Nean) Pauline Effie Curry Eppler Dennis, (Grandpa) William Andrew O'neal, (Grandma) Charlotte Freeman O'neal, and stepfather Paul Hoy.

Billy is survived by is loving wife Laura Smith Eppler, sons Lucus Paul Barton Eppler, Joseph Don Christopher Eppler, stepson Timothy Smith and husband Addison, stepson Andrew Smith and wife Ashley, mother Fannie Hoy, twin brother Edward Eppler, sisters Paula Knowles and Robin Hoy, grandchildren Everett, Genivieve, William, McKinley, Maddison and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Billy was an outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. His passion was his garden. He could get anything to grow and it was usually big and bountiful. He loved his family dearly and never met a stranger. He will be missed by so many. Heaven gained a great man.
