Bettye Frances Hyde Curlin, Born July 8, 1926 passed away November 6, 2022. Bettye was a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & Great-Great Grandmother. Bettye Graduated from Forest Avenue High School in 1943. Shortly after High School she married her Love, Edgar Ernest Curlin on October 13, 1943. Their Union brought One Daughter, Bettye Ernestine Curlin Davis. Bettye worked for Terrell State Hospital in her younger years, The Phone Company for many years and Retired from Garland Bank & Trust.
In her younger days, Bettye enjoyed Bowling and Square Dancing with her Handsome Husband. Oh How She Could Sew…she enjoyed sewing Beautiful Clothes for the Grandchildren and Christmas Stockings throughout the Years. In the Summer Months, she would make jams and jellies from the fruit trees that she and her husband grew, as well as canning & pickling vegetables from her garden.
Bettyes life was Lived for her Family…Her Reason for Being & Living. She helped raised her Grand Children & Great Grandchildren. Bettye is survived by her Daughter, Bettye Ernestine Curlin Davis of Royse City, TX, Granddaughter Kellie Lynn Daniel Caplinger of Sanger, TX, Grandson Jody Lane Daniel of Royse City, TX & Jon Thomas Daniel of Royse City, TX, 10 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great-Great Grandchildren. Bettye is preceded in Death by her Husband, Edgar Ernest Curlin.
