Betty Jolene Patrick was born September 4, 1928 in Chidester, Arkansas. She passed away January 3, 2022 in Wylie, Texas.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Georgia Nelson; James (Pat) Patrick her husband of 61 years; granddaughter Amber Jackson and son in law Marvin Tabor.
She is survived by her sister Ann Rhodes of New Braunfels, Texas; children Darlene Tabor of Gainesville, Georgia; Bobbie and husband Gary Oliver of Garland, Texas; James and wife Gail Jackson of Pearland, Texas and Bill and his wife Margaret Jackson of Stuarts Draft, Virginia.
She had 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who she called the joys of her life.
Betty was a member of the Baptist Faith. She was the coordinator of the Junior Auxiliary at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. She and her husband traveled extensively and loved playing bridge with family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Chapel 2925 5th St., Sachse, TX 75048
