Bennie was born on January 4, 1950 to Fannie S. Truitt. Bennie attended Benjamin Franklin High School. In 1980 he and his wife opened Texas Jewelry & Loan which has since continued to grow and prosper. Although Bennie was not a man of many words, when he spoke you would listen. He also enjoyed inventing, gambling, billiards, boogie boarding, skeet shooting and had a knack for coaching baseball and basketball.
Bennie is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna Jean Bridgefarmer, son Steve Cash Bridgefarmer and his wife Rebecca, daughter Stacy Lynn Bridgefarmer and her significant other Kenneth, son Logan Ray Bridgefarmer, granddaughter Emma Jean Bridgefarmer, grandson Cash Reese Bridgefarmer and cat Rocket.
