Barbara was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 12, 1948 to Bernie and Mary White. She died at her home in Wylie on December 9, 2010.
Barbara came to Texas with her family in 1954. She attended St. Pius X Grade School and was in the first graduating class of Bishop Lynch High School. She was a girl scout, worked at a five and dime and an office supply, before becoming a banker.
She met Michael Dudley in Plano when he drove her home during an ice storm. They were married in Linden, Texas on December 10, 1987. Barbara loved children, animals, music, movies, video games, crafts, Frisbees, travel, her family and people.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane White and her brother, Michael White. She is survived by her husband, Michael Dudley, her step daughter, Sarah Davis and her husband Justin, her grandsons, Jackson and Landon Davis, her father, Bernie White, her brother, Jim White and his wife Chris, her nephews, Steve White and Matt White, and her nieces, Molly White and Caren New and her husband Jeff.
Services for Barbara will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Sachse Chapel, 2925 Fifth Street, in Sachse.
In lieu of flowers tax deductible memorials for Barbara may be given to Texas Oncology P.A. Research, 3705 W. 15th Street, Plano, Texas 75075
