Audrey Evone Lightner

Audrey Evone Lightner, age 75, of Princeton, Texas, passed from this life on July 14, 2012. She was born September 2, 1936 in Itan, Texas to Aubrey V. and Alcie Vera Brown Walker.
Evone was a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton. As a local business owner Evone prepared individual and small business tax returns at her own firm, Lightner Tax Service. She was married for 56 years to John Lightner who preceded her in death. They were blessed with two children.
She is survived by her son Joe Dan Lightner and his wife Karen of Princeton, a daughter Rhonda Lightner of Melissa, four grandchildren, Danny Lightner, Karlie Lightner, Justin Cauffiel, and Austin Cauffiel, one great grandson Klayden Powell, a brother Dick Walker of Bolivia and a sister Nadine Cates of Corinth, Texas.
A Memorial Service will be held in August at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Chapel, 660 E. Highway 380 in Princeton. For further information contact Charles W. Smith & Sons at 972-736-2400.
