Ariana Rene Martinez was born on September 23, 1995 in Mt. Pleasant, TX. She grew up in Plano and attended Thomas Elementary, Hendrick Middle School, Clark High School, and Plano East Sr High.
Ariana had a love for the outdoors and music. At heart, she was an artist. Most of her life was based on this fact. Her artistic vision gave her the ability to see fashion and music trends before they were popular. She also enjoyed trying new food at nice restaurants. But her real joy came from spending time with family and friends. Ariana had a magnetic personality and was very well liked. People were drawn to her fun and loving character. She could make friends anywhere and in any situation. Ariana's spirit didn't stop there, dogs were drawn to her and any time that she could be around a dog was so exciting for her. The adventurous part of her personality allowed her to learn how to ride a skateboard at an early age and she continued to do so any chance she could.
Our beloved Ariana is gone too soon. Her soul now rests with Jesus. John 11:25 says, Jesus said to her "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." Ariana knew Jesus. So, we look forward to the day when we reunite with her in the presence of Christ.
She is survived by her parents, Sarah Ritchie of Rowlett, TX, and Moises Martinez of Lubbock, TX; sister, Alexis May; nephews and niece, Bryson, Roman, and Alayna May; grandparents, Al and Olivia Martinez of Pflugerville, TX, Carlos and Estella Oyerbides of Lubbock, TX; Aunts and uncles, Cynthia and Jeremy Rodriguez of Lubbock, TX, Carlos and Traci Oyerbides of Lubbock, TX, Gabe and Erin Martinez of New Braunfels, TX, and Adam Martinez of Pflugerville, TX, and many cousins as well.
