Keckeisen, Alice Jean (McElvy, Young), 86 passed away on January 1, 2021. She is survived by her three children, Steven, Tamara and David and four step children, Mary, Tom, Cathy and Jim. Also survived by six grandchildren, five step grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
She married Carl Collins McElvy Jr. and had three children. She later married Edward Henry Keckeisen, who brought four children into the marriage.
She was born in Los Angles, California. Throughout her life she lived in Plano, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada and Wylie, Texas. She was a homemaker, did home renovations, EEG technician and realtor, until she retired. She was also a cancer survivor.
Her hobbies included traveling the world, photography, fashion and entertaining friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. At Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home 2925 5th St., Sachse, Texas 75048.
