Alan Lee Luttrall

April 15, 1951 — June 26, 2021

Alan Lee Luttrall was born April 15, 1951 to Gerald Fisher and Bobbie Hale, in McKinney, Texas, and passed away suddenly on June 26th, 2021 at his home in Blue Ridge, Texas.

Alan was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Fisher, his mother, Bobbie Hale, and his beloved wife, Linda Lou Kinman Luttrall. Alan was survived by his children, Laura Brewer of Pittsburg, Texas, Daniel Luttrall of Phoenix, Arizona, Joseph Luttrall, of Denver, Colorado, Jessica Luttrall of Omaha, Nebraska, and five grandchildren.

Alan was dearly loved by his siblings, Jackie Shoulders-Dry of Murphy, Texas, Peggy Halter of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jim Luttrall of Plano, Texas, Marty Fisher of McKinney, Texas, Joe Fisher of Point, Texas, Debra Lambert of McKinney, Texas, Greg Fisher of Blue Ridge, Texas, and Sarah Dixon of Lavon, Texas.

Alan volunteered for the United States Marine Corps, and served his country proudly during the Vietnam Conflict. He returned home and grew a successful business, where he developed lifelong friendships. Additionally, he had a deep love and compassion for animals, and was an accomplished western horseman.

He will be remembered most as a loving father, grandfather, husband, son and brother. He taught his children the value of hard work, and instilled in them his hard headed determination. He was one of the last of a dying breed of rough, strong willed men. He will be forever in our hearts and memories.
